The itineraries are designed for clients looking for travel options closer to home this summer.

Railbookers has met growing demand for close-to-home travel options this summer, unveiling a series of new Scottish Highlands and Islands holidays, featuring overnight island stays.

Anna Davies, sales & marketing manager at Railbookers, said: “We have offered rail holidays to Scotland with day visits to the Isle of Skye for some time now, but these new trips enable customers to stay overnight on Skye, the Orkneys and the Outer Hebrides as well. It’s the perfect getaway for those who want to be outside and enjoy the island scenery longer.”

The more popular itineraries in the new programme include the five-day ‘Isle of Skye’ itinerary from £1,149 per person, the 10-day ‘Edinburgh, Isle of Sky and the West Highland Line’ trip from £1,799 per person, and the nine-day ‘Scottish Highlands and the Outer Hebrides’ tour from £1,249 per person.

Agents can work alongside Railbookers’ team to customise all available itineraries in any number of ways.
